The State of Postgraduate Medical Education and Training 2009 was launched at PMETB’s Annual Conference for Stakeholders on 1 October 2009. 

This is the second volume of its kind and it aims to reflect the very wide and varied experiences of those involved in PMET in 2009. This year's compilation comprises a wealth of articles and commentaries from trainees, college presidents, patients, regulator, deanery colleagues and more.
